Beauséjour urban development plan
Situated in the centre of the neighbourhood and framed by retail frontages, the market square – a key social area for residents – is at the heart of the project. Particular attention has been paid to the thermal comfort of the users, provided by a large, luxuriant and varied canopy of trees. The square creates a connection between Beau Pays avenue and the greenway.
The market will feature local producers and is designed for user comfort, whether in “event mode” (on market days or for other events), or on a daily basis, for residents strolling beneath the dense canopy. A canopy of plants provides shade and coolness for streets and building facades.
